With the standard ISO 14644-3, another chapter in measurement has opened for cleanrooms and clean production areas. The so-called air flow mapping (by fog machines) and the corresponding visualisation now ensure that the results can be analysed on a pictorial basis whereas before the results could only be determined by particle measurement. CRT has deep-rooted experience in the application of flow visualization.

In addition to applying our experience to the qualification of existing cleanrooms, our many years of experience gained from numerous flow visualizations also forms a valued basis for recommendations concerning new or converted cleanroom areas, since having the optimum airflow in a cleanroom is one of the key factors responsible for producing the highest quality as standard, as well as systematically preventing contamination.
